**Blast from the Past**

Biggles: Adventures in Time (1986)
Directed by John Hough

Biggles, is loosely based on characters from Capt. W.E. Johns long running series of novels about WWI flying ace Biggles.

A contemporary young business executive finds himself transported to the Western Front during World War I. While in 1917 Jim meets Capt. James Bigglesworth, aka Biggles, a British fighter pilot who has been assigned to uncover a secret weapon that is being tested by the Germans and could significantly influence the outcome of the war.

The two time twins team up to do battle against the forces of evil in both the past and the present. Fun film with really cheesey 1980s soundtrack and special effects.
